This season presents a unique landscape for our volunteers and the organizations’ that depend on our venison. With tremendous growth in hunter donations we have enjoyed record setting numbers. With the growth in donations we have worked to solidify our processor relationships and work to onboard new processors to help us process the donations to get them venison to where it is needed most, in the communities of Pennsylvania. The costs associated with processing a venison donation have steadily increased and despite the fact that our processors are doing this work to support those in need they do still need to defray the costs associated with the work.
